About Kathryn Wolfe
Kathryn is a highly experienced TV presenter coach, founding Pukka Presenting in 2003. She has trained hundreds of presenters including Julia Chatterley CNN anchor, David McClelland BBC technology broadcaster, Seema Jaswal BBC & ITV Sport, Marie Francoise Wolff QVC, Kerry Boyne CITV’s Scrambled, and Sita Thomas Channel 5’s Milkshake.
Kathryn has devised and taught TV presenting courses at Universities and Colleges across UK and is a regular tutor at The Actors Centre and City Lit in Covent Garden. From 2006 – 2018 she was Senior Lecturer Media Performance and Course Leader TV Production at University of Bedfordshire, gaining 100% overall student satisfaction in 2017 National Student Survey for TV Production, and receiving 2018 Vice Chancellor’s Student Experience Award for Outstanding Commitment to Employability.
As an author Kathryn has written two leading texts in this field - So You Want to be a TV Presenter, Nick Hern Books (2010), and The TV Presenter's Career Handbook, Focal Press (2014). Previously, Kathryn was a BBC trained TV director with over 20 years TV directing at BBC and ITV, credits include Teletubbies, Tweenies, Crimewatch UK, The Clothes Show, Record Breakers, and Michael Winner’s True Crimes.Kathryn has been selected to take part in six BAFTA juries to choose winning TV productions and TV presenters.
